Unveiled the new Bosco Verticale penthouse by COIMA Image and GIOPAGANI
We are in Porta Nuova, a neighborhood symbolic of the cultural transition that sees the capital of Design becoming the beacon of a new concept of housing sustainability. Inside the Bosco Verticale, an iconic building of this revolution and of contemporary Milan, even what is concealed by walls and greenery has a story to tell.
It is in this setting that a new exclusive interior design project comes to life, born from the partnership between COIMA Image and GIOPAGANI, who have been working together for years to create unprecedented housing suggestions, between aesthetic experimentation and the search for a new lifestyle.
An apartment on the twenty-fourth floor of the building where COIMA Image and GIOPAGANI, as interpreters of haute couture, have “sewn” the rooms with fine finishes, custom-made furniture, sophisticated details and material research.
As soon as you cross the entrance threshold, the incipit is spacious and airy. A few meters away announces the living room bathed in light that shines through the large windows. The colours of nature from the balconies are echoed in the custom-made wall work that accompanies the visitor’s gaze across the breadth of the space. A wall clad in glossy polyester lacquered maple wood paneling and Italian herringbone flooring in natural brushed oak warm the space.
At centre stage, the corner sofa, dressed in wool bouclé, suggests conversation, while the dining area, represented by twin tables, invites convivial moments. Custom lighting, created by skilled masters, plays with metal and Murano glass.
The living room is in continuity with the kitchen, made and designed by design, with an independent entrance. Marble-effect counter tops and wainscoting, combined with matte lacquered wood, give the whole an air of sophistication and timelessness.
The sleeping area reflects the elegance that has made Milan the capital of design and architecture. The Master Bedroom includes a bathroom with Breccia Sarda wall tiles and a walk-in closet. The textile headboard is reminiscent in concept of eighteenth-century alcoves crowned by wall canopies and combined with the chinoiserie-style upholstery, creates an effect that becomes graphic.
All the rooms are played on the same tones, ranging from cream to “cookie” to fade into the deepest brown. The same goes for the materials used for the bathrooms, all harmonized by the use of natural stones, such as Ambrosia and Chocolate Brown marble slabs.
layout of the spaces plays with the light filtering through the windows, creating suggestive moments that highlight the use of natural materials. The essentiality of the design and attention to detail give the apartment a timeless appeal making it a contemporary classic to create a new concept of “sustainable luxury.”
